I have been looking into the IVAA certification but after reading this thread I will definetly take the IVAA certification exam

Can those of you who have certification tell me what the recertification and continuing education requirments are?

I am a member of IVAA. I do not currently have any certifications, but I am registered to take the Ethics Check exam. I am planning on taking the Certified VA exam as soon as finances allow.

Any advise from our forum members who have taken (and passed) the Ethics Check exam? How did you study for this exam?

Ethics is such a subjective topic, how do you go about studying? IVAA's "study guide" is VERY basic and does not offer a lot of information. I have been in business for many years and I understand and promote ethical practices, but you never know how someone else (IVAA) interprets an ethical dilemma.

Were there any resources you found especially helpful?

Any insight is greatly appreciated.
