Thanks, ladies! Do we ever get passed being newbies? It seems that I am always learning something new, finding my way through rough times, and dealing with not knowing how to handle certain things. I totally consider myself a newbie ... there is so much still to learn. I think that's what makes being a VA so fantastic. It's not even boring when client work is slow. There is always something to learn, fidget with our Web sites, be a social butterfly on our social sites, and the list goes on. Isn't being a VA fabulous?!

Patty, I loved reading your interview and learning more about you - thanks for sharing!

I completely understand and agree that on some level there can sometimes be those feelings of uncertainty - even after being in business for years. It's a normal part of the growing process. If everything was easy all the time I don't think business would be much of a challenge.

Thanks for a great interview!

Patty,

Thanks for opening up your VA office to us and sharing so much interesting information.

My hubby and I also share an office, and lucky for me, once he does his paperwork he runs down to our basement to put the orders together. So I'm usually here alone in our office and like it this way.

Transcription seems to be on the forefront of many VA's these days (or at least the ones I've spoken with in the past two weeks). I do not offer Transcription at this time, but might be looking into the possibility. I did a lot of transcription in my days.

Thanks again for all the information!

Great interview Patty.
I really like your advise to new and aspiring VAs. As much as it's great to be ambitious, we can't know "everything about everything". Thank you for sharing your expriences!
