Default Interesting Article Found On CNN
Hello everyone,

I found an article I found pretty interesting on CNN concerning business owners who work from home and thought I would share!

Shannon, great article - thanks for posting! I find it so interesting that so many home based workers are now seeking out places outside the home to get their work done and interact with other similar telecommuters.

One of the number one things I hear about why people like forums like this is not just the info but the relationships developed - especially for those who are literally home alone with their computers all day.

I like this concept of Jelly Network where people are moving beyond working at the local coffee shop and gravitating toward a sort of telecommuters' co-op with shared work space - still maintaining that independence of freelancing, etc. but feeding the human need for other people.

I thought it was a pretty neat thing too. I really considered how we all 'link up' on our forums and sometimes VA's need help through other VA's to complete tasks, and in a way it is similar, but out of the computer screen and into the real world. I know it said in 40 cities right now, but I bet their are a lot of VA's whose cities those apply to... even not in my poor little rural area!

I talked to someone not too long ago who really wanted to be a VA but didn't think they could handle working alone all of the time. Looks like there are now options for people who feel the same way!

Thanks for taking the time to share with us. I love this idea and may take it to some local businesses to plant a seed!
