And you know what was one of first thing he said - "I can't believe there are Virtual Assistants on Twitter... Ummm... That was somewhere in 2007. I started 'backwards' and found the client before I knew what a virtual assistant was. There are VAs who are in business before they know it, and others who take months to land their first client. Some simply never put in the necessary elbow grease of marketing and networking and are left wondering why they don't have any clients. I "opened" my business in mid August and found my first client at my first Chamber networking event about two weeks later. This was mostly luck, but the key word is "Networking".
