Default Has Anyone Heard of Southeastern Virtual Assistants Group?
This group seems to cover VAs from the south. Has anyone heard of this group?

If so, would you recommend a membership?

Hi Jan

SEVAG is own by Carolyn Neilson. I was a member before I had to put my business on hold. It is a good group and I recommend it.

Thank you. I hadn't joined but it was something I was considering.

Janine - I've known about SEVAG since starting my business, but there's a fee to join so cheap-old-me isn't going for it - yet. I'd like to, though, as regional listings can help, I think.

Anyone else had experience with them?

When I first looked at this a few years ago the organization looked a bit more lively.

But it still appears to be more of a directory than an interactive site with speakers and resources. for VAs It's $20 a month...hmmmm... and not too many VAs in the directories. Apparently the paid premium directory listings are called Professional, while the Basic directory listings were called Basic. I never like it when labels are placed on such things...does that mean that the Basic folks are not Professional?

I'll give this some thought.

I am in the upper mid-west but I participated in a tele-seminar that was being offered a couple of years ago. It was great. That is the only dealings I had. you had to be a member to participate but she let me in. At that time it looked like there were several speakers lined up and they did some on and offline activities.
