I hadn't heard of this site so had a quick peek - I noticed that the freelancer/job seeker pays a fee to have job opportunities funneled to them. I can't say I'd want to go this route for a few reasons - not the least of which is, paying someone to funnel job opportunities to me. I see a strong focus on the whole 'employee/employer' relationship there, which of course defeats being self employed and running your own business.
Perhaps a better direction would be to carefully fine-tune the types of clients you want to work with (what niche, what industries, etc.) and spend your time marketing to and networking with them.
To me, this just seems like a job board which doesn't really jive with the kind of business or lifestyle I've worked hard to build.
With all that said, I completely understand wanting to cover all possible bases when you're first getting started, and anywhere that seems to have potential to send you clients and/or work can be intriguing. I just think it's important to protect and preserve your 'business owner' status - and going through a job board is probably only going to be an uphill battle as most posts are employers looking for employees. Do you want to be an employee?
Looking at their
new jobs list I only saw THREE freelance 'jobs' and only two of them were truly 'telecommute' (and only one was truly 'freelance' - the other two were employed positions)... So, is it worth $15 or more a month for a handful of 'opportunities'? I'll be very interested to know if you decide that it is - and certainly wouldn't hold it against you

But there's my two cents!
