Re: Master list: getting started as a Virtual Assistant - what to do?
This is a great start, especially when you don't know where to start.......
Thanks for putting this together. Now I need to atleast put together a business plan.
Re: Master list: getting started as a Virtual Assistant - what to do?
Hello:
I am a Newbie to the VA Forum. The list made me rethink my Website that I did on my own. I need to get a more professional picture as my header page. Having owned another business that I had to close because of the economy was so disheartening. I decided to go with something I can do from home and have plans to get enough work to help others in our community who have lost their jobs. This is a wonderful site to learn from. I have 23 years in the customer service field. I am also still currently working my present occupation so I can get this one started.
Business policies are very important, if you don't have those things just get misinterpeted. I would like to know what office software that others are using? I will be going over the list throughly this weekend to make sure I have all in place and revisit my contract and letter of agreement.
I am also interested to learn what types of marketing materials others are using? I seem to be getting a lot of non-legitimate feed back and you have to be so careful.
