Tess,

Thank you for the listing, I've too have been searching for an itemized list that assists new VA's in developing their business. This is a wonderful resource!

Thanks,

Tina

Tess,

What a great list!!! This is so helpful and everything I did to start my business. I wished I would have found this first, instead of trying to figure it out on my own.

Thanks,

Tammy

I completely agree with the list and learned a few things. I would also suggest getting registered with your city or town as a "doing business as" certificate, and joining the local Chamber of Commerce for networking purposes. If these were already addressed or belong elsewhere, disregard!

Thanks so much Tess for making this list. I have truely been lost in translation about some of this stuff. And you have helped me get my feet back on solid ground.
Thanks again.

Great information on this thread.

I would like to add if there is a Women’s Business Center or a Small Business Center in your area contact them. The WBC in my area has been invaluable to me in how to start my business. Things I had not thought about have been brought to my attention. They offer free business coaching and free or low cost classes as well as free networking opportunities.

What a great list! Very comprehensive and valuable. Some things were new as well, which is exciting.
