Not really sure of the scope of documents that are found in the library as I need 50 posts before I can access. Would it be feasible to make the "starter" type of documents a bit more available to us newbies?

Loving this forum so far - thanks to all!!

Although I can't open the document due to a minimum number of postings, the basic to-do list is a great place to start!

This is a great list that is really going to help me get started and get everything together - though I am not so sure that I want to use paypal....I've had some adverse experiences with paypal. I think I remember seeing a post on here about different places to accept credit cards.... off to explore

I live in a large urban area with an extensive public library system that extends over several counties. I have not had any success in finding books geared to the VA business with the exception of 2 publications. Amazon has a good sized listing though, so I know the books are out there. Has anyone else had difficulty in obtaining these types of books through their libraries?

I would add (after having read a post yesterday on this) thoroughly checking out the insurance options that best benefit you, your business and your clients.

Thanks Tess, this Master List is awesome. Although I have completed many of the steps, I was able to revisit some tasks that needed more attention. I think this will really help me get off to a great start.
