Re: Free Virtual Event Planning 'University' [3 hour broadcast, Oct 29, 2009]
Very cool. I've been thinking that this is a service I'd like to eventually get involved with and am considering taking the Virtual Event Specialist course (I think that's what it's called off-hand) offered by the VA Classroom - after I take the Author's Assistant course. This will be a great FREE workshop I can take to find out more about that industry and if I think that it would be something I'd really be interested in before I shell out the dough.
I'm definitely going to register. I just have to make sure that I can sneak in a 3 hour window during my workday. I wonder if it's going to be recorded for people who can't make that window. Also, I'm wondering if I should ask my boss if she minds if I take it because it could help us out a bit as well (we offer artisan workshops and are planning to have some online workshops as well).

On the registration page it says something about being able to log back in to listen to it again - so I think even if you can't sit through the whole three hours you'll be able to catch up with the info later.

Re: Free Virtual Event Planning 'University' [3 hour broadcast, Oct 29, 2009]
I just registered. Can't wait to attend. Now, I have to put the date and time in my blackberry with the alarm. I seem to forget phone/online conferences and chats.
