Hello, all. I've been doing some researching during my "planning" phase of my VA business, and I've found LOTS of sites for free e-books. A lot of these books relate to business and are very thorough and useful. I understand that some of us are on a tight budget. Some of them are:
- BookBoon- www.bookboon.com -These books are in PDF format. No registration is required to use the site. Just answer a couple of questions and BOOM... free books. I've saved a bunch and I'm saving them under my NAM Administrative Services folder to come back later to read. I've also downloaded a PDF reader on my Ipad2 so that I can read them on the go as well.
- Free E-book- http://www.free-ebooks.net -this was the first site I discovered that had a lot of e-books available. When you first sign up, you're only allowed about 5 downloads a month; however, they'll give you free VIP status which means that you can download an unlimited amount of books (if I'm not mistaken).
- Free Business Magazines- http://freemags.magazines.com -I just stumbled across this one; according to their site, the majority of their magazines are free to qualified subscribers. I think the majority of these are printed magazines
- Free Trade Magazines- http://directcreative.tradepub.com -Free trade magazines and whitepapers
There are probably a lot of sites with white papers, magazines, and pdf-formats of business books. A lot of these books deal with marketing strategies, time management, conflict management, etc.
