Hello everyone,

Ok here is my problem. I am worried that I don't have enough experience. I am probably just selling myself short but I still can't help but think that I don't have enough experience to start my own business. So I was wanting to get more experience to make sure I can actually start up my own business all by myself since my fiance doesn't even want to help me.

I was wondering if anyone could help give me advice on how to gain more experience without paying $500 to take an online course. If anyone knows of maybe an education tutorial online or something like that. Or even a website where you can take a type of free course that would be amazing.

If you can help that would be great. I try to put something in the classifieds but the thread starter hasn't replied yet.

As another option for you; go to your local library and find the resouce books/start your business/Books for Dummies, that kind of stuff. This would be self taught through books but they may be able to provide in a CD version.
My father gets alot of stuff on CD from the library because he is legally blind and I was quite surprised at the selection.

Here is a great resource for online educational tutorials from SCORE. They are a non-profit group that is part of the SBA. Along with these wonderful lessons on IRS, business planning, how to know if you can afford to start a business etc, they offer free counseling to small business owners. Although I have not used the free counseling, I have found some great advise. Keep us posted on how you progress. Good luck!
