What's your title on your business card? - Virtual Assistant Forums

I was just wondering what you call yourself on your business card? Do you list yourself as owner of the business or simply as virtual assistant or what?
I'm about to have mine printed and need to know what to call myself.

I don't give myself a title. I am the business. If you had people working for you then I would put a owner on it.

Good question Norma! I changed my title every time I made new cards for awhile. The first time I was "President," then thought that didn't sound appropriate (I was just so excited to have my own business). Then I had no title, then I was "Owner." So I'm no help, other than to say that's a good question!

I started out with only my name and no title and found out that as people referenced the information they needed a que as to what I did. (At that time I didn't have a business name either.) So now I put Virtual Assistant/Bookkeeper on them. Even though I am the owner I don't think this title is necessary as I'm the only one here.

It's a personal choice, but try to keep in mind what you expect to see and find on a business card when you receive one and go from there.

I use owner/virtual assistant on mine but I do have some cards that only have my name with no title, not sure why.

I'm struggling with this question right now as I try to design my business cards. I'm trying Owner to see how it looks, but I've also thought of Virtual Consultant.

Not much help am I!

I put President on my cards. I have used Principal in the past and may go back to it. I've used Owner/Founder as well.

Wow that is a good question, I never thought about that when it comes to making up my Cards well I guess there is a nother thing I have to decide on.

I used "Your Virtual Assistant"........ it doesnt give me a place in the company but with my mouth they will know everything as soon as they talk to me anyway......

This is something that I have tossed around alot, I put Owner/Renaissance Assistant....I felt that at least that would put the business name out there.

i think mine say "Owner/Operator" right now (maybe), but like someone else said, i've been known to change it up when i print them. i'll also just use the plain old "virtual assistant" too... one day i'll get more creative.

I went back and forth between "owner" and "virtual assistant" and eventually went with "owner." I am considering "owner/virtual assistant" for next order.
