Nice idea Elaine Good thinking, why not network a bit with the admins who are there already (and often times they're the ones making the decisions!)

I like the idea Elaine. I also agree with what Tess said about admins/secretaries. Many moons ago and I still believe it is true now, it was understood that secretaries/admins were "gatekeepers" so to speak. It was always a good idea to be friendly with and courteous to the secretary.

Thanks..Pass it on. I thought of the idea when I worked for a Property Management company as a Manager and my Assistant was expecting, so she could not go up and down stairs she needed to get flyers out and get the party for the summer started..so I hired a student that lived on property for extra cash..

My card is similar to Doreen's--not a definition exactly, but a few general examples. (Here's a scan.)

As for the back...I guess I could have been more inventive, but mine is just a 2008 calendar.

On the back of my cards I have:

Why Should You Work with a VA?

 You have a need for administrative support, and possibly a lack of space and other resources to house an on-site employee
 VAs own their own businesses and pay their own payroll taxes. They have their own equipment and are highly trained. Clients only pay for the hours they use their VAs.
 VAs are committed to their clients' goals and successes. Each task and project is completed within the larger picture of where clients want to take their businesses. VAs are truly partners for success

I'm just getting ready to order some business cards, thanks for that insight of using the back of the card. At one point in my corporate career I had business cards printed up for an executive and had the exact information printed on the back in Chinese...obviously for some meetings in China. Fab idea! Thanks for refreshing my memory.
