Here's a link to their website if anyone is interested: http://www.gfxinc.com/canadian-prices.html

I just stumbled across a cool site called moo.com. Kinda pricey ($19.99 for 100 business cards), but they look really cool. You can upload your own design or choose from one of their unique styles.

Great link - I'm transitioning from a transcript business to VA and definitely need a do-over on my business cards, not just 'cause of the name - thanks!!!

I would check out Vistaprint. They have quality business cards that are free (they put their logo on the backside in small print) or you can pay $20 for 250 cards and have your uploaded design. They OFTEN have sales where their product is "Free" I got 250 business cards, 2 small car door magnets, 150 return address labels and 2 baseball caps ( All with my logo and lettering) for a total of $48. This included shipping. Their quality is really good and would recommend them.

Hope this helps with someone that is starting out and needs cards for free.

Lisa

yeah, Vistaprint is actually running a sale right now for 250 premium cards for only $3.99 or 500 for $7.99 - these have a matte finish and not glossy but at that price I won't be complaining - http://www.vistaprint.com/print

Thanks for the links. I am just starting my business and I'm really not wanting to order from vista print since it seems like so many people do.

I was doing some looking online today and found some great options for unique business cards. Unique probably won't mean cheap though. I didn't research the costs since I'm considering making my own, but thought others might interested in checking these out.

This one makes cool square ones 2'' X 2''. These are actuall pretty affordable at 29.95 USD for 250 with your own design. And it has a design template so you can get the dimensions correct. Bizcard.com

This one makes plastic cards, including transparent or frosted ones.
ThePlasticFactory.com

This site makes a book of 20 cards that comes with a cover and then you can tear out each one when you need it. Apparently the perforated edge isn't supposed to be that noticeable. Also, the point is that pulling out this little book of business cards is supposed to be sort of a conversation starter. Another cool thing about these is that you can make each card unique or you could make a book of coupons too. There's a larger size available too that could be used for booklets or portfolios or postcards. They also have design templates available.
Shineboxprint.com

In any case, I had fun looking at them and thinking about the possibilities.
