However, I must add a caveat. When you are designing your business card, keep in mind the scanability of the card. Many people these days use business card scanners to put information into their contacts list. So just make sure your card and the information on it is scannable.
After using Vista Print for free cards, i finally decided to get the effect I really wanted, I needed to create my own. I designed some in Publisher and used Zoo Printing to have them printed. I am so excited! I incorporate part of my logo (clouds) as the inspiration for the background on the cards. Then on the back. I listed my most popular services...and then put my "mission statement" on the back.
For my birthday about 4 years ago, my older kids bought me a business card holder with my name ingraved on it. It keeps my business cards nice and neat in my purse and it is very impressive when I pull it out and it has my name on it. Not to mention no one can really steal it.
These great ideas got me thinking since my specialty is business letters and communication I could print off cards that look like envelopes. At first I thought about having the cards fit inside an envelope but I rather have just one part only. Makes it better for scan-ability.
thanks
