I used a QR code on the back of my new cards I just created them free at http://bizcardcreator.com.
Then printed them myself. Time will tell as to how useful the QR code will be.

I like having the QR code on the card. I have designed mine to have it as well, after having been given one by someone else (that had it on theirs). Very neat tool.

I love the idea of the QR code on the t-shirts, postcards, and in the car window. I cannot wait to try this. I think people would definitely be so curious and would have to scan it. I know some realtors who have taken to adding the QR code to their "For Sale" sign and then also to the circulars. Very cool idea. Thanks, Janine for posting this information! Appreciate it.

I'm hoping it's the way to go! I used:
http://www.qrstuff.com/
to get my QR code which has a link to my V-card (so you scan it with your phone and it adds name, phone number, company, e-mail and website so you just have to "save", rather than have to type it all in).
I coloured it to my company colours and popped it on the back of my business cards and on the contact page of my website. I'm very chuffed with how they turned out!

I am starting my business again and I was designing my business card. I am definitely getting a QR code, but I am debating what I would like my QR code to link to. I like Tracey's and Janine's idea, does anyone have any other ideas?

Hi Shante,

My suggestion is to link it something that prompts the user to 'do something'. In other words make the link a call to action.

So my suggestion is to link it to a sign up list to your email newsletter, to a Facebook page to LIKE the page or to a coupon where they need to redeem it by inputing an email address. You can search Google for many, many QR code generators. But in the end you want the user to take action after they scan the code or else it is just a dead link.
