Default Business Card Feedback
Hi everyone,

I am about to send my business cards for printing and I would like to know if you have any feedback/suggestion. Do you include a phone number on your business card?

Please let me know what you think

My Business Card

Thank you!

Looks good, I do include a phone number and I also include my FB, Twitter and Linked In information on the back of my card.

Looks nice! I like the font you used.

I have a few constructive thoughts...

I'm not sure what you mean by 'translations' which located next to 'light bookkeeping'. Placing translations next to bookkeeping implies to me that you are translating something in bookkeeping. If translation means you can translate languages, which is what I believe that means, then I would place that on a separate line and specify the value in that.

I also feel that the word online in 'Online California Virtual Assistant' is redundant with the term virtual. Perhaps you have a reason for using 'online' in your company name but to me the fact that your are virtual means you would indeed be working online.

I am not sure about the logo. Your company name includes the word 'California' but there is no image of California in the logo. It appears to be a techy picture of a world and a head. I would have liked to have seen an image that was 'California-ish'. Perhaps the world could show an image of the state. When I think 'California' I don't think black. I think of color and beauty. So I see a disconnect between the branding of the name, the logo and the background.

I know you have worked hard on this and I don't want to discourage you.

Hi,
"I am on the fence" regarding the font you chose. It makes me wonder about the image you want to communicate to clients - it looks very "techie" maybe more for a programmer.

I like the wording you chose for your company but I have one reservation:
"Online California Virtual Assistant" - To me "Online" and "Virtual" are kind of the same thing.

I Really Really Like! - "Empowering busy professionals" - The only thing I would change is capitalizing each of these words - to make it stand out.

Colour - Great!
Reverse Side - Great!

Hope the feedback helps!

Hello there! Thank you ladies for your replies.

Janine, I'm not discouraged at all. I appreciate your input!

The font would be the least of my worries, that can be changed. I like my logo, it's a matter of opinions

I totally agree with you on the name, it doesn't click that much for me either. Originally, I was residing in Orange County (ocvassistant.com - the oc) and during that time I purchased the domain and was working more locally. Unfortunately, I had to make big changes in my life and move to another area. I thought about it so much! What name could I use with this domain? The logo I had was perfect, etc.

As a single mom in difficult times, I do have to work with what I have and even when it sounds redundant, it is what I have for now. My goal is to exclude the Online, for obvious reasons, and also California, because I do have contacts in other states and Costa Rica as well.

But I need to get this business cards done and go out there to get some customers, now that I am trying to go virtual on a part time basis. That is until I get the ball rolling again. The biggest failure in life is to fall/be pushed down, and never get up again, regardless of the obstacles we have. I can't let something like the name stop me right now I am looking forward to getting the business cards and print out some flyers to get some customers in the area. Then I will be able to invest in merging to a new domain, name, etc.

I will consider the translations part though, which mainly the input I am looking for, is on the back side layout and the phone number; I will revise that.

I like the colors and the logo. Most of my paperwork is in white, and it looks different, I like it. But I do like the black for the cards; I will try them in white to see how it looks. In the long run, I will stay with the logo and not the name.

Again, I truly appreciate your input. I welcome feedback at all times!

Viviana

Thank you! I have talked to people personally and they ask me for a business card. When I tell them I don't have them with me, it turns down the interest. That is not good! So thank you all for the input! I'm sending them to the printer tonight after I revise it one more time.
