Hi Guys!

I'm currently designing my business cards; and whilst I'm happy with the front of the card [i.e. the bit with my address, phone number, email], I'm having some problems with the back.

I would like something on the back of the card so that people can keep referring to it... I was thinking of a blurb on the back of the card.... at the moment I currently have:-

* my initials [in the logo font] with the heading "offering office support to busy professionals"
* the same as above, the initials being replaced by my full name
* A quote [not too sure on the quote yet] either in the logo font or my 'freelance office support' font - preferably from a famous Irish poet....
* A song lyric [i.e. a well-known lyric] that's amended to fit the business
- example: "In my dreams I have a plan, If I got me a freelance office sideman, I wouldn't have to work much at all, that's a dream I want to afford..." [the lyrics are "money money money" by ABBA]
* A picture of something - at the moment I'm just thinking of my logo [which currently appears on the contacts side of the card]....

I'm sending this to print this week, so any help's appreciated!!

by the way, the colors are hot pink & black on white card

I like the first two but how about adding things like your LinkedIn profile and Twitter account name. Or your Skype name. It's too much to put on the front of the card but if you have are active in those places then I think it is a great way to attract more people to you.

Never having had a 2-sided card before, I am at a loss.
The front will be the usual bits and I had thought to put a short list of my general services on the back. Sound okay so far?

Should the back and front both be vertical or horizontal or is one and one
acceptable?

I know this is pretty basic stuff, but please bear with me - and thanks.

I put another tagline on the back of my card. At the bottom my website and email address is listed. I left lots of white space for notes to people who receive my card. Lots of networkers in my area like to be able to put some notes on the card to remember you. Although, you should ask permission BEFORE writing on the back of someone else's card. I think you idea of a quote that has inspired you is a good idea but I would stay away from song lyrics. This is just my opinion. You could also list some of your services, IT it doesn't take up too much room. In addition, the back of the card should have the same orientation as the front - both either landscape or portrait.

I like the your intials as logo and then a quote. However I am opting on my business cards a list of your services. A genral list of course. I believe that they will be more opt to keep it if they see a services right away they can use later. Just a thought.

I have my services listed on the front of my business card. I would add something of value to the client such as a tip estimator, if your working with Realtor maybe a monthly mortgage estimator. Something that the PC would want to keep your business card in their wallet or purse.
