I agree with justing listing my P.O. Box address on my business cards. Working out of my home I really dont want to list my physical address.. I even made sure before registering my company data with the state I had a P.O. Box and updated the PO Box address with IRS, some of that data becomes public information and I really dont want my address floating around until at least my business grows big enough to rent an outside office suite somewhere. (Gotta think big!)

I use a PO Box on my cards but I do know that some people use their home address (I don't think as many) but I'm just not comfortable doing that. I can't wait to check out minicards. They look great and I'm almost ready to be getting new cards.

Warmly,
Susan

I would not put my home address. I don't think clients need to know where you live to feel comfortable, if they do, ask then what their home address is? LOL. I have my PO box on mine :-)

On my cards, I don't use my PO Box. I have my 800# and Skype # and my Web site url with that email address plus my email address at my Isp. You never know if your Web site will go down at any given time so that is my backup if that should happen. My PO Box IS on my Web site though in case someone wanted to take the time to look for that information. I just feel my email accounts and phone numbers should be enough.

I don't have my home address on my business card.
I have all my e-mail addresses and web sites, so if a client needs to send me something via snail mail I can e-mail it to them, but not advertise it.
I would however put it on if it was a post box.

Good luck with your decision. It has to be one you are comfortable with.

I've always kept two sets of business cards. One has just email/web contact and the other has everything.. phone, web, email, physical address. It depends on the context as to which I give out. For the random marketing and leaving a card then they get the web version but in my welcome kits I put the one with the physical address and phone.

I only use my PO box address, but I rent a box at a local agent like Mail Boxes, etc. - I think they're franchises because the guy who runs the shop gave me a special deal - $50 for 1 year rental. I could've gotten another 10% off because I'm a student, but I felt he was already giving me such a great deal I didn't want to take advantage. It gives me a street address and Suite # rather than a PO box, so I'm very happy with the choice. Plus, these little shops often offer extra services like signing for packages, shipping UPS/Fed Ex, and many others. I highly recommend this option after the nightmare I went through to get my first PO box through the USPS.

Also check out your local UPS store as they provide a physical street address instead of a PO Box that the USPS provides.

I just put my po box on my cards. You never want to have someone show up at my home that I wasn't expecting.
