Default Using Your Own Name for Business Name?
Just wondering if it's ok to just use my name as my business name - or does that make branding, etc more challenging/less memorable, etc.

I just figured it would save me a lot of hassle along the way.

If I use my name, should I still have a logo (I assume yes...)

Thoughts?

For me, I went with a business name not related to my name because my name is not as easy to roll off the tongue. I think for those with easy to remember names, it is a good idea. But that is just my preference!

And yes, I think a logo is a great idea even with a name.

My business name is just a name---my nickname. I still have to register it since it is not my legal name.

Could you just use your last name and VA or something, and not have to register it?

My logo comes from part of my tag line.

So it's possible to make it work.

Thanks for the input.

I already have a registered business, but it's my own name. I think operating name and business name can be different?

I have to think.

Ok - so... I have an idea, maybe.

What about Fletcher Admin? I'm thinking of an arrow in the logo somehow as Fletcher is a person who puts the feathers on arrows.

Got some design work to do on it, but just at the first thought.

I think using your name is fine if that is what you want to do. Make sure it is not already registered. I like the logo idea also!! Good Luck!
