I am looking to work with small business HR needs, Grant writing, Business Plans, maybe resume's and possibly REVA. My background is in HR but I helped a neighbor out with some paper shuffling when she was busy with her Real Estate business. I will stick with the HR, Grant and Business plan writing if I get enough work in just those area's.

My husband will be joining in a few years offering technical writing and Technical Design (electrical, HVAC, lighting and home theater)

so we need something that encompasses all of our whims

Faber Ink

For a logo Faber in Black and Ink in White with a black ink splot behind the INK.

tag line "your business solutions"

Only issue is that because my husband will be dealing with electrical and my self HR...if I hire some one that goes crazy. We should probably get an LLC.

so Faber Ink LLC....too weird?

do we have to put LLC with our name/logo?

I really like Faber Ink. The logo design sounds classy also with the black and white. As for the LLC, I can't help you there, I am an Australia.

The tagline I think needs to zing a little more. Maybe work in the ink spot.

oh I wish Think Ink was actually an available domain name. It would be a good company name.

I like where "the spot for your business solutions" is going Dh thinks it is a bit to wordy but for sure we can work with that.

I agree with you, Faber Ink LLC is a bit wierd, but the only think people would need to remember is the Faber Ink. That's what your branding, marketing, promoting & selling. So regardless of your incorporation title, you can always use the short and sweet. (aside from legal docs and at the very bottom of your website you don't have to list the LLC anywhere public.)

As for the tagline I agree with Fiona, it needs some zip that will tie the two sectors together in a punchy way. I don't think I would specialize the logo or tagline to HR, especially if you're going to expand in the near future into tech writing. You will be a great business solution just as soon as all the little things come together. I can't wait to see you in the marketplace.
