Tagline and logo ideas
The name is Office Birdy.
It doesn't have assistant in it, does it need that? It may be harder to find without assistant in it?
I want some sort of bird as the logo- my friend was thinking an owl but its not an all night service, but owls are smart...can you think of a good bird for logo..this is going to be done in vector. He was thinking of making the owl with the eyeglass popping out a bit. But I'm not sure if this conveys some sort of night service and maybe a different bird would be better.
Secondly any good tagline ideas.. maybe something to do with "wings", "lift".
This is just an idea that a friend gave me throwing out there... I still have MVAS.
Thank you for any ideas you have.

Re: Tagline and logo ideas
There are all types of birds which can be represented in a business logo.
An eagle depicts strength and perseverance.
A blue bird depicts new life as they are typically seen in the springtime.
A swan depicts beauty and grace.
A duck can be many things...comical as well as showing action and good nature.
But before you go ahead and select a bird think about this:
A logo should represent your business mission as well as being something memorable and simple.
The mission of your company should reflect who it is you want to attract to your business as well as what you offer to that target market. Afterall, if you are trying to attract say, corporate clients, you may not want to use a duck; an eagle may be more appropriate.
So once you have determined who you want to attract, tie in your company's mission to that logo and create something memorable and simple.
Create a list of adjectives of what your company represents: i.e., smart, fast, efficient, for example and align those mission words with your bird selection.
I like the owl idea, but honestly, I think it is overdone. It might take a bit of research to go through a good bird book from the library but well-worth the effort to find something unique, memorable and simple for your logo.

Re: Tagline and logo ideas
My advice on an owl is don't use it if you work internationally. It's a sign of bad omens in some countries. Just my 2 cents...

Re: Tagline and logo ideas
I didn't know that about the owl - really interesting. I did some research after I read your comment Danielle, and was fascinated to learn the many different meanings that this lovely bird symbolizes. Like you said, for some, not so positive. You really do learn something new every day on this forum.
While I respect other people's views, I would miss my little owl. He belongs above the "i" of ClockwiseVA.
MyVAS, good luck in finding the right bird for your logo. Have you thought about using a hummingbird or swift?

Re: Tagline and logo ideas
I think it's great that you've chosen a name that can be so creatively portrayed in your logo! I tend to agree with you though that having an owl, to me, would represent night hours or all hours availability. Something you probably want to avoid.
As for tag line, maybe something like "let us be the wings of your business" or "lifting your business to new heights." Hehe, creativity with tag lines is not my forte, just two things I thought of when reading your post! Good luck!

Re: Tagline and logo ideas
.
I'm thinking a bluebird will work. With the small blue bird in between office and birdy with wings spread out.
So logo like...
Office Birdy
Administrative Services
"tagline"
Spread your business wings?
We are keeping My VAS for my partner to use later for his own services, he wants that for himself.

Re: Tagline and logo ideas
You might consider a soaring bird of some kind and a tagline such as "Helping your business take flight." Though "Birdy" is playful. It brings to mind a small, quick bird, so Linda's idea of a hummingbird or swift is really nice. Maybe then a phrase like: "Give your business a lift," or "The sky's the limit."

Re: Tagline and logo ideas
I like the hummingbird because birdy sounds like a small bird.. and I do adore hummingbirds. They fly really fast..with a humming sound. I'll have to give the slogan a bit more thought though but so far I like all three you gave, I have someone who is going to design the logo and help on the website.
Ive come with so far: You and your business, taking off
I like the others too. Not easy picking a slogan!

Re: Tagline and logo ideas
I got the logo taken care of and should be done sometime over the next week! I put Office Birdy with a hummingbird on top under that it says Administrative Services. I did not put the slogan in the logo, I am going to put the slogan on the website the header and most likely on the bottom of my business cards. I went with Helping your business take flight. If I want to add the slogan to the logo it won't take but a little time to do that but I like the idea of having it elsewhere on the site. I'll link it in my signature when its done.
Thank you for the help!
