Smile Tag Lines
After suffering ill health for some time I am now almost recovered and am pushing on with setting up my business.

I am in the middle of sorting out the logo from a site recommended here in the forums but I am not sure of the tag line. At the moment I have "Assisting your business is our business", but I would like some opinions, please!!

When you can, setting up your signature would be helpful so we know what to call you. I didn't want to call you "Hey You!"

My opinion only, but I love this tagline! Super job! It's a "keeper" in my book.

Aw, hope you are feeling much, much better and enjoy getting your business up and running.

How important is a tag line? My business name is InterCom Virtual Assistant Services. Coming up with a tag line is like trying to nail jello to the wall. The only thing I've come up with that is halfway decent is 'The Cyber Secretary'. I wanted something that indicates that I'm there when you need me and gone when you don't. Like a genie or something. But then I started to wonder if it was really that important. Opinions?

Good analogy!

The purpose of a tagline is to make your business stand out from others. The goal of a tagline is something that will attract attention and stick in people's heads.

Think of this scenario...

You have distributed some marketing material either online or physically to local businesses.
A business owner/manager is struggling with a project and happens to remember your tagline that applies to their project, that he/she saw somewhere.
A quick google search of your tagline directs them to your website, and BINGO! You have a potential client.

The tagline that I came up with for my business is, "A Virtual Solution to Real Administrative Needs." I remember the first tagline I ever wrote took FOREVER! But this one seemed to just pop in my head one day when I was updating my contracts.

Hi Sarah:

I really like your tag line. It seems appropriate, so use it and see.

I myself, also being very new to being a V.A. have not even thought of what I will use as a tag line. Guess I better start tossing it around.

Good luck,

Oh Man! A tag line...Sandra, yours is perfect! I, however, never even considered having a tag line. Winston, great input...now I gotta start thinking...

Thanks all. I went through a bunch of business names before I settled on InterCom and I had great tag lines for all of them. Then I choose a name...and can't come up with a tag line! Ah, well. I'll just keep obsessing on it....
