Default Price Name Structure
Aloha ladies,

I am in the middle of a complete re-design on my website and am adding new pricing options. A lot of my brand revolves around the Hawaii aspect so I want to incorporate that by naming my three pricing options. Here are my two options - please let me know what you prefer:

1) Naming the three packages after three of the Hawaiian islands (i.e., The Oahu Package, The Maui Package, The Kauai Package.)

2) Naming the three packages after common Hawaiian words (i.e., The Aloha Package, The Mahalo, Package, The Kokua Package.)

Thanks in advance.

Anyone??? Is this idea too cheesy? I have seen it done on other sites in the industry and thought it may be cute.

I do think it's cute but you have to be careful not to cross the line from cute to cliche. I immediately thought of the 'Molokini Package' for clients who only need a very few hours and obviously, the 'Big Island Package' for large retainers. The concept is nice and suits your business name - I guess it depends on what else you have going on on your site.

Thanks Tess. I really don't say too much about Hawaii on the site except for the welcome page so it should work. I appreciate your feedback!

I mentioned part of this on another post about offering clients a small, medium or large package (like Tess said) but she also said that it's a VERY good idea to name the different levels in such a way that the price isn't mentioned so, I think it's a fine idea to be a little cute with the names as long as it fits in with your branding. I've never been to Hawaii and can't remember from Geography the sizes of the islands and I think the only other word I knew was Aloha, so I guess it would depend on where your clients are whether these particular designations work or not.

Thank you for the feedback Stephanie. I think that I am going to use the island names in my pricing structure - it offers more opportunity for growth if I decide to add other packages.
