Default Opinions on name and tag line (long)
Hello all,

So I've kind of been lurking and posting here and there for a few weeks and have been wanting to write this post for a while. Although I have signed up using CustomVA as my business name, I'm a little stuck with regards to a tagline that "pops". I have come up with several but nothing seems to appeal to me, maybe I'm just to close to see it. So, I'm asking for everyone's opinion, below are a few examples of what I've come up with:

CustomVA
- Professional services tailored to meet your business needs.
- Tailored administrative support to meet your business needs.
- Adminstrative support tailored to meet you business needs.
- Customized solutions for your business needs.
- Customized solutions meeting your business needs.
- Professional solutions to your business needs.
- Experienced administrative support customized to meet your needs.
- Administrative support customized to meet your business needs.
- Customized support tailored to your success.
- The right fit for your business needs.
- Virtual assistance customized to you business needs.
- Virtual assistance customized to work for you.
- Administrative solutions built around your business.
- Creating customized solutions for your admin needs.
- Providing made-to-order business support solutions.
- Tailored assistance to meet your productivity.
- Tailored to your success.

Another issue that I am struggling with is, I started a transcription business a couple of years ago, created a website and generated quite a bit of business as well as interest in my services. However, a few months ago I stopped providing (and marketing) my transcription services because I was unsure if I wanted to focus solely on transcription.

So, I was thinking of just changing my transcription business name from Seasoned Transcription to Seasoned VA and building off of the familiarity I've build from my transcription website and contacts. Now, my struggle with using the Seasoned VA name is, again, a great tagline. So, I've come up with a few as well, (listed below):

Seasoned VA

- We weather the admin storms so you don't have to.
- The calm to your admin chaos.
- Establishing the right climate to enhance your productivity.
- Experienced admin climate control.
- Let our experience fill your administrative needs.
- Professional administrative consultant at your service.
- Complimenting your needs with our experience.
- Established administrative consultant focused on our success.

My apologies for the long post, this was one of the reasons I was putting off posting. Your input, suggestions, criticisms, opinions, etc., are welcomed and appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Anita

Hi Anita,
I am new to this too. I still work a full time sales gig and hope to get enough knowledge over the next several months to make the change.

I learned in many networking groups that Branding is important. You already established that with the "Season" name so I think you should build on that. You may be able to get VA work from some of your old accounts as well.
My tagline idea is "Meeting your administrative needs through every SEASON.

I am still working on my name as well. My first thought when I signed in last month was Assist You. I am in the Chicago area and most of my background has been in outside sales. Anything come to mind?

Thanks,
Laura

Oooo, I like that Laura, and yes I agree that staying with the "Seasoned" name will create name recognition and you are correct I do have a couple of transcription clients that I know can benefit from my VA services. I am adding your tagline to the top of my list, it's better than anything I came up with, thank you very much.

Welcome to the forum and I wish you lots of success on your journey to becoming a VA. I look forward to reading more about you and your emerging business. BTW, I like "Assist You" it's to the point.

Anita

I would stick with Seasoned also. I like "The calm to your admin chaos." Not sure if it matches "Seasoned" perfectly but I like it.

Thank you, Teressa, your input is greatly appreciated, the more I think about it the more sense it makes to stick with the "Seasoned" name, still not sure on a tag line though, but I am working on it.

Update:

So this is what I came up with after reading the thread at http://www.virtualassistantforums.co...ng-ideas-17371:

Seasoned VA
"More than an assistant, your business partner for all seasons."

What do you all think?

Thanks,
Anita

Hi Anita,

I really like your company name and tag line. The tag line really nails it in my opinion.

Hello, Anita. I also think it is very good idea to stick with your Seasoned name. This gives you the feel an established business -- not that new businesses are not attractive. But for your current clients, using SeasonedVA just makes more sense. Just my two-cents worth.

I love all of your tag lines, and I think they all work well. You've done such fantastic brainstorming on this!

Thank you, Ailien and Patty, I am leaning more towards the "SeasonedVA" name. The nice thing is I just need to tweek my current "Seasoned Transcription" website to incorporate my leap into the VA world. Now, if I can just figure out how to change my sign in on VAF from CustomVA to SeasonedVA.
