I need help for a business name - does office guru work? i am targeting sm business enterprises, for admin, mkting, and hr.

I like that. It seems very familiar though, as if I've seen someone with it before. I had a name in mind and then had someone remind me that I need to at the very least, do a google search to make sure no one else is using that name. but if they aren't. I like it.

I am still searching. I want something more professional that attracts my target market - techies and communications consultants. Thanks for the feedback.

You absolutely have to do a search to make sure that no one is using the name, or even a similar name. You don't want to spend time and money setting up your business and then find out that there is someone else, in your field, using the same or similar name. You may receive a cease and desist letter and have to stop using the name.

I suguest finding out a name that you can market and get a domain name then just get the dot com and register you name and you business you should be ok remember to get a llc in vegas all you need is a po box.

Your profile says you're in Canada...you should be able to run a business name search online in your province to see if anyone has registered the desired name. There are various fees depending on the report you want. (I would search by search engine first, it may save you money!)

As the others have said, check to see the domain name is available before you go ahead and register the name. If you're in Canada, you may want to consider the .ca domain extension in addition to the .com one.
