I purchased www.yourofficepeople.com for my domain. I thought of clients referring others by saying "Call your office people" as well as the popularity of the tax commercials "I have people".

So, I need a good tagline...the name lends itself to quite a bit of language play, but I think it could get carried away to cheesy-land if I'm not careful. Any ideas?

My first question is what do you do? I mean what services do you plan to offer, what is your niche, etc. I love those tax commercials so I think this could be fun without being over the top cheesy.

I am starting out with an unusual niche, small construction contractors. My BIL is an electrical contractor and works with a general contractor and I have several neighbors who are small contractors...none of them have offices or staff. I have already been asked to research lien claims and prepare the necessary documents, just upon mentioning my idea to BIL. He said they waste hours and hours trying to find and price compare supplies and materials, prepare bid proposals, research new statutes and codes etc. and plans to throw a lot of this work my way.

My overall offerings are research and investigations (I am working on getting private investigator credentials), document preparation, general marketing and business consulting, customer relations systems creations and management, event/meeting/travel planning, contact and project management...and I have two small business owners I can sub-contract with easily for bookkeeping and legal secretary type work.

OHHH!! I love this niche! My husband is in residential construction. It seems like you'll have a wonderful sounding board in your BIL to work on your company/niche! It sounds like your niche may shift from construction specifically though. The first thing that immediately pops to my mind is "Building ____ from the ground up!" (your business or office?) simply because you are working for subcontractors and they'll get it. Or how about "Virtually Building...."?

You could consider using multiple tags, which some from VAF have mentioned they do. One geared toward construction because someone who has this experience is very specialized (my MIL does this) and another for your other line of work.

How about something to the effect of..."Providing a strong foundation for you Business" or "Giving your business a strong administrative foundation"

They sound kinda cheesy now that I'm saying it out loud, but you get my gist...something about a strong foundation that every business need.

Great idea about the domain. I don't know the commercials as we don't have them where I am. But obviously you're looking to give businesses that don't usually have office people, some office people. So I guess you need to focus on 'giving you an office' where it counts or something. Keep playing with words, something will come. And as suggested by others, perhaps a focus on building, construction or foundations in there somewhere might help.

how about "building from the ground up"...
