Your logo is all about you and your business!
So whatever you think feels right and applicable will be fine.
However, simplicity is always the key. Look at the big names.. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.. their logos are really simple and straight to the point. You can also put in a graphic that best represents your business.. and most often than not, although it may be a cliche, the person sitting with a computer -- is the image that's seen it's because that's what we do!
