I just saved the link to logoinn for when I'm ready to change the current logo I am using... I got it from Vistaprint. Anyway, they are having a 50% off sale right now, which if I understood correctly would take the $68 package down to $34. Wish I had found this before I ordered all my business cards. This is a great idea and I am saving it for when I'm ready to update. Thanks for the tip!

I've tried to design my own logo, but am definitely not 100% sold on the one I created. I am definitley going to check out some of these logo design sites. The rates seem to be pretty reasonable.

I, too, went thru LOGONERDS and even though I didn't get my product within 3-5 business days...it became worth it in the end. I am SO pleased with the end result. As creative as I think I am with desktop publishing/graphics software, I just do not feel as though I would've come up with this. I'm a proud mama, right now. *smile*

I went to logomaker.com and I think I am happy with the results. Not too expensive at about $50, I think, to use the logo you create.

I'm currently using Laughingbird Software (version 6) and love it. Go to their Facebook page to obtain the download links. Awesome software!

I'm not convinced the logo is that important to clients. I wouldn't spend too much time on it; just create something simple - at least to get started.

Another trick is to use crowdsourcing. This is a grat new concept for logo designs as well as web and other stuff. https://99designs.com/ is of of them. You ask for concepts from bidders... Pick the one you like and pay the fee and you are done. Also a great way to pick up extra work if you are good at this type of talent.

I'll take a look, too. I have not been looking for a new logo, but mine is real simple -- something I came up with; so may consider an update. Thanks.
