Hi All,
Been working more on getting my business started. I think I am at a point now where there is nowhere else to go until I come up with a name/website/business cards. I have a few name suggestions I would like to bounce off you guys . (I apologize in advance, I ramble even through text)

So, I don't have a niche just yet though I am planning on offering general support type services to both small businesses doing admin work and busy professionals doing personal assistant type work. All virtually of course. I eventually want to get in to graphic design (still learning) and expand into that field someday so I want my name to be able to reflect future additional services I may offer.

My last name is May (maiden name, not married). I keep thinking that there MUST be something creative to do with that last name but I keep drawing blanks. Here is a list of ideas with thoughts next to it to keep the post uncluttery.

Mayday, but various websites exist with that name so I would be stuck with something like Maydayoffices/Maydayoffice or Maydayservice (the plural already exists) or Maydayofficesolutions which I think is too damn long.

May Services (which doesn't really say what I DO and is kind of boring)

May the VA (kinda rhymes and is cute but not sure how asthetically pleasing maytheva.com is)

VA May (same as above)

TheHelp. I thought this might be cute because it says sort of what i do (help people) and I think it would be fun for customers to say which would increase word of mouth advertising. For instance "Hey, how did you get all that work done so quick?" "Oh.. I just got The Help to do it".. kinda funny as well I think. Though I am always paranoid about insulting people, can that be misconstrued in any negative way? Variations of thehelp.com were unavailable but I did find thehelpishere.com which I grabbed for really cheap just in case.

What about Mayday VA? maydayva.com is available. And it kinda rhymes.

I *really* like April's suggestion - SO cute and totally applicable. And so many ways you can play off of that with marketing, taglines, etc.

You could use May in a tag line instead. Have something simple for your business name, or even just your name, with 'How May I Help You?' as your tag line.

Thank you all for your advice . Its a tough decision, I really like the MaydayVA one that was suggested and I am also partially attached to The Help for the fun marketing opportunities it might bring. Though nobody mentioned that one so maybe it isn't as good as I thought. I am going to think it over and try designing various logos for each to see what I can come up with.
