Now what? I checked and the domain name is available! Without getting an LLC what is my next step? I'm pretty excited about the name I chose and eager to put it to use.

I already have an EIN (just signed up today for one) and I want to stay a Sole... I just don't know what the next step is.

I wish I could give you some advice but I am from Australia and rules are a little different here. But congrats! Finding a name your comfortable with is not any easy task. As all my threads will show! LOL.

I would search your state to see if any other businesses are registered with that name. If it is available I would also check to make sure it doesn't have any copyright infringements, as evidenced in the virtual entrepreneur magazine and others. EMI media has a copyright on the word entrepreneur, so just check for that, and from there I would think you would be good. Just imagine if someone copyrighted virtual assistant how much difficulty we would all have! LOL. Great job on finding a name you love. I will keep my fingers crossed that you have no issues.
