HI,

IT took me a long time to come up with my biz name "Optimal Admin". Now, I'm having a hard time finding and being satisfied with a slogan or tagline. Can anyone help me with this? I really need and I am trying to build my brand on and offline!!! HELP!

Welcome to VAF! Glad to meet you here. I would suggest that you do fill out your entire profile and at the very least sign your name. If people know who you are and you personalize your profile, it helps us to get to know you better.

Have you had a chance to look the Business Development category under Branding Your Business? There are a number of threads about creating a tagline such as here and here. I suggest you start there. When I was creating my tagline some time back, I read through a number of threads which offered tips to the creation of a tag line.

Really, in order to help you, you will need to provide much more information about your company name, your target market and what services you will offer in your business. Taglines will allow someone to remember you and what you do so without that information, it is difficult for me to assist you.

Start by writing down keywords that describe your business and compose phrases that offer information about yourself and your services. Play with that for a while rearranging words and then return to the boards with some ideas. I'll be glad to jump in and offer opinions and suggestions to help you.

Thanks so much. I've been brainstorming and I've worked with small business owners, non-profits, authors and entertainers. I love working with solo prenuers, entertainers, creative minds, small biz's and non-profit organizations. I love doing admin work!! I have not found or narrowed down my niche as of yet bc I would like to be open to receiving all types of clients who need my assistance...what I've came of with is

Janine has given you some great starting points to help you further brainstorm your tagline - I only wanted to add that I think it can be useful to tie your tagline in to your business name in some way.

Playing off of 'Optimal Admin' - what can you communicate to people in one short phrase about what you do and how you do it? I'd work on including the word 'Optimal' or some variation (optimize, optimizing, optimal, optimum, etc. etc.)

Nothing comes to mind for me at this time but if something pops into my head later I'll post back.

I agree with Leslie - - I like "Providing Optimum Solutions for You". It sounds like something you could easily roll off your tongue and state as a reason for a client to work with you.
