Re: How did you create your business name?
Naming your business is like thinking what to call your baby before it's born. It's tough, but fun! What I did was to think of a name that is closely related to the nature of my business so that people can easily remember.

Re: How did you create your business name?
I called up one of my creative buddies and we had a brainstorming session. We came up with alot of corporate sounding things, using my name, but then I realized I didn't really want my business to have my personal name (thought that would cause an identity crisis). So, he took my first and middle names and started coming up with anagrams.
That's how we found Veranda Lane. I loved it because it immediately made me think of sitting out on a Veranda drinking wine and looking down a country road at a sunset. The funniest part is, now everyone thinks it's my name.

Re: How did you create your business name?
I sent my very creative sister in-law a description of a virtual asistant and asked if she could come with a list of business names. From this list I selected a few names and sent the list to my friends to vote on.

LOL I thought the same thing (about the anagram part) - then I realised it actually said 'Veranda Lane.' Very smart - it's very unique, which means it's memorable

Re: How did you create your business name?
I just recently started working on branding my services. After brainstorming with several friends, I settled on E-Vision Virtual Solutions -Helping your company be what you always ENVISIONED it to be. It was so perfect for me because my name begins with an E. So I confirmed that the name was available in Michigan and I was getting ready to send off the paperwork when I found out that next year I will be moving to Georgia.
After checking on Georgia's SOS site and seeing that there were already several companies with some variant of E-Vision, I decided I needed a new name. A name that could travel with me so I would not have to re-brand again. I was anxious because I needed to mail the paperwork out the next day and I really did not LOVE any of the other names we came up with before. I was still wrecking my brain trying to think of a name when I went downstairs to the basement to check on the laundry, when I saw my 3 children sleep on the sofa. They were so adorable and I started thinking, I am doing it for them. Therefore, I just decided to use their initials. CDH
Sometime in the near future I plan on finding the perfect professional adjective for each letter. Hopefully, I can get some input from the creative individuals here.

Re: How did you create your business name?
What an interesting read of how you all came up with your names!
Way before we even started our business, my husband and I, were traveling as much as we possibly could before we jumped into building the business. So that being said, knowing that we'll always be traveling (as much as we can), and assisting others while doing so, we wanted to emphasize that we may not always be near, but either way, we're here to assist you.
