Im new and I am in dire need of assistance with coming up with an Unique Tagline....
My Business Name"Doing Business With Dystiny"

So far I have: Help One Reach Many(sounds kinda corny to me)

I would love for it to be unique but catchy....any suggestions?

Hi Dystiny -

There are some things to consider when selecting a tagline. Who is your target market. What are your services - your niche. Your tagline needs to address the problems you are solving for your target market.

Also -I've seen many successful people get along fine for a while without any tagline. There was a lady in a leads group I was part of and her tagline during every 30-second commercial was - "and I'm still workin' on that tagline!"

I'd be happy to offer some suggestions once you identify that, but it would be helpful if you could provide some more information and perhaps a few choices that we can select from, so that way we are not doing it for you, but being able to give you valuable feedback on what you already feel works for you.

Hope that makes sense and I hope you don't feel I'm saying I don't want to help. It's just that without a lot of information about what you want to do, and what pain points for clients you are trying to solve, then it's pretty much a shot in the dark and it won't serve you well. But if you give us a few choices, then it's still "your" stuff - and we're just able to serve as your focus group. Looking forward to what you come up with.

I agree with Pam. I am also currently in search of a great tagline. So far, I've came up with "superior quality, superior service".

Dystiny! Hey...I had to circle back because I was just over on your initial "hello" post and I think you might want to go back and look at what you wrote there!

You said that you want to help people fulfill their destiny! That was profound and that spoke to me. You might want to play with that a bit!

@nekiwa07 - One thing to keep in mind with a tagline is that you want it to be meaningful to your target audience. Your tagline suggestion is a little untargeted and a little superficial. It is language that everyone uses, and it doesn't tell me how you will solve MY problem.

Take for example this tagline: "Finding a cure now...so our daughters won't have to." It clearly creates a punch and an emotional response ("so our daughter's won't have to"), it gets across concisely what is being solved ("a cure"), and it creates urgency ("now"). It hits me on several levels and definitely gets my attention.

Dystiny - Let's say you decide to go with offering some kind of phone support service package. An example of a good tagline might be "Fulfill your destiny - get off the phone!" This touches the emotion of fulfilling destiny and it tells them how they can do that.

Ummm...I would say you are getting closer, but I'm still going to struggle with helping you, because I'm still missing your target market, services, and how you plan to help people. Sorry...:-(

Tell you what - if you could - please take a look at this post I need a SLOGAN or TAGLINE for my biz...HELP! that Janine just wrote a little earlier today re: the same topic and do a little research on how you can come up with a tagline.

A couple of pieces of feedback - and I truly am trying to help although it may not feel like it right now, but remember to keep in mind that your tagline needs to be pretty specific. When you say "I'll do the rest" I as the person hearing that says "rest of what?" It doesn't tell me anything.

Also...the taglines you've presented seem to cover more than one area of service offerings. I know you were working on your niche - and trust me when I say that I see me (3 years ago) in you right now. You'll get there, but you really have to create your initial niche and services first and make sure that is pretty well solid - at least in your mind - again, knowing you can add related services later.

I get what you are saying and i dont take any offense....you been doing this way longer then me....My niche right now is Virtual Office Manager....meaning im going to put together a pkg that will offer onsite and offsite assistance in setting up your office, getting all your fikes in order....creating a online system for receipts,invoices etc..providing telephone support after hours and vacations etc. Do your invoicing etc...literally anything office related thats what im going to do...sorry to be bugging you but, I am working on a timeline.....oh my target clients are real estate agents,contruction workers or soloentrepreanurs and new start up businesses
