Default Having a hard time with names
I'm having a hard time naming my general VA business.

I have a name that I like, but the response has been mixed - what do you think?

MONDAY MORNING VA

I'm not sure if I want it to be VA or VP.

I'm also interested in Your Gal Friday - but Girl Friday seems well used right now.

I want something that gives the impression that I'm there for them; that I'll be there when an employee can't/won't be; and something that is a little on the funkier/hip side.

What do you think of the names I've thought of? Do you have other suggestions?

What about taglines?

Hi

I actually like The Monday Morning VA. It's different and catchy. As far as tag lines go, give it a little more though after you choose a name.

This is a totally personal opinion, but for me Monday Mornings are the worst morning of the week, it takes me forever to get going, so your name for me would not have the same connotations as it does for you but I do see your point about been available on Monday mornings. Maybe you could use that as part of your tag line. Here again, I am of no help, as I am very bad at creating things like that.

Good luck with you business.

Have to admit, Monday Mornings don't have the most wonderful connotations for me. "Monday to Friday VA" how about, or "Everyday VA." Or something. Have you tried writing a list of all the things you can think of that are associated with being there "when an employee can't/won't be; and something that is a little on the funkier/hip side?"

I like Monday Morning VA, but admit that my initial reaction was as the others said -- negative. Like Monday morning blues. Everyday VA sounds great. If you are afraid of the literal connotation, though, (EVERY day), something like Right-Away VA might work. . .
