Sometimes when I come to the forum to ask a question it takes me longer to figure out where to post it than to actually post it! When considering my question I decided that depending on where the dropdown is you are branding yourself so I picked here!

A majority of the time when you complete an online profile and industry or profession is requested they provide a dropdown with specific choices. I have yet to see VA in any of these crazy things! So, what do you put? Do you select the industry that you market to most often, Administrative or Consultant? Does it depend on where the profile will be at? How so? I think that all three choices make sense but I never know which one to choose!

Hmmm, interesting question
There is usually a choice for 'administration' or similar so I just choose that - unless there's a choice for whatever your niche is, like 'marketing', 'web design', etc.

If administration is not a choice I choose either Consulting or Executive.
