Question Business name ideas
Hi everyone

I'm planning to start a virtual assistant business this year and I have a few name ideas I'd like to run by you...

Office Zen - bringing you back the balance
Cyber Cat - Virtual Business Services
Boutique VA - bringing you the luxury of time

Thanks for letting me know what you think - honest answers of course more than welcome, don't worry you won't offend me

Cheers
Kyla

Kyla,

None completely jump out at me but I do like Office Zen the best of the three.

Have to agree with Lee. Out of the three Office Zen is the best.

Cyber Cat gives off a vibe that is one you probably don't want and when I read Boutique VA along with the tagline it makes me think of a spa.

This for me was one of the hardest parts of getting started. Good luck.

I understand what Kendra and Lee are stating, but who do you plan as your target clientele? This may help the direction of your business brand name. Of the three, I also like Office Zen, but depending on who your clients are Boutique VA may be perfect or even Cyber Cat.

Yes it has been a tough one and I'm starting to go a little nuts brainstorming. I'd like to have something personal to me giving the impression that I'm a real person and not an online admin factory, but given my complex background it's not an easy one

Australian, living in France, multilingual - I want to offer website/graphic design and social media management with translation French to English included.

Hi: I like a slight variation. 1. Bring Back the Balance or 2. Bring you Luxury of Time. These are both more real than your second choice.

Good Luck! Penelope

I like Office Zen the best, but Bring Back the Balance has a nice ring to it as well. Are you planning to work mostly with French or English speakers? Is your site going to be in both languages?

Hi, yes I'm planning to create my site in French/English and offer services to French speakers also. Perhaps German also, I'm still debating that one.

Ideally I'd love something a little different and european style - just like me

It's not an easy one and I'm sure I'm not the first nor last person to go through this process. Someone once said to me "stop thinking about it so much and a name will just arrive in your head spontaneously"...

We'll see.

In any case, thanks all for taking the time to make comments and best of luck with your ventures

Cheers
Kyla

Hi Kyla,

I think it would depend on the clients you tend to market. Although I am a "CAT" lover, I would keep it more professional and go with Office Zen and I like your motto. Says a lot. I think though instead of "bringing you back to balance" I would put something more along the line of "Creating a balance ....". I just think that is a more general coverage. I think when you say "You", the potential client will see it as just for them but when you make it more generalized then it is seen as a service that can help the business as whole, therefore making you more of an asset for their company. Just my thoughts. : ) good luck! and welcome to the VA world!

I like Office Zen the best, but if you will be focusing on offering French translation, how about using a French word (one that is well-known among English speakers) in your business name instead?
