Question Another idea
Current business name idea Faber Ink.

My husband (business partner) Wants a more unique name AND he doesn't think it is good business to correct people when you first meet them.

How do you say Faber?

It is Fah-ber NOT Fay-ber.

So some other ideas
Think On Business Solutions
Think On Business Associates
Think On Business Assistant

Think Ink Business Solutions
Think Ink Business Associates

Dh thinks they are too chewy.

Other ideas??? Any and all input is greatly appreciated

Is Think Business Solutions taken?

I like Faber Ink.
I would read it as Fay-ber, but does it matter so much?

Anything "Ink" sounds like you're in the business of refilling printer cartridges. A business name needs to speak to what you do IMHO.

I like the Ink...I actually thought of a pen and writing. Each to their own.

Seeing as you are focusing on business and technical writing (if I remember correctly) how about

Write Way Business Solutions
or
Write On
or
Ink Corporated (incorporated...inc....get it?)
or
Ink Well
(tag is on the tip of my tongue for this one...need more thought)

My husband will be the technical writer and designer. I'll be more HR assistant, particularly writing employee hand books, resumes, training, hiring, business letters including grant writing and business plans.

I like Think Business solutions BUT the whole name .com is taken.

Thinkbs.com is open.?.

I like how short Thinkbs.com is, but it can be taken in the wrong way (bs doesn't always mean Business Solutions in shorthand.)

The domain faberservices.com is available and fabersolutions.com should be on the market soon, it's awaiting renewal at present. Both are good, brandable domains. I like the idea of utilizing your last name in the title, especially since you're building a family business. Whatever way you go I would avoid the following for reasons I'll explain:

don't shorten Business Services/Solutions - you are not selling bs

avoid the shortened VA in your web address. I can't tell you how many people contact me looking for the Veterans Administration.

Don't expect your web address to be your only link to search engines. The address actually doesn't increase your page ranking, its the content on the pages. Your site could be named blackfriday.com and selling horseshoes and the search engines won't care. All they see is the horseshoes.

I hope this helps.

I like Fiona's ideas...they are catchy.

Ink Corporated strikes me as memorable as does Ink Well.

I tend to like business names which make me pause and think. When I do this, the name is retained into long-term memory.

two cents...

I totally agree with the bs. Wanted to see what others thought.

maybe I should stick with Faber Ink. I already own Faberink.com as that was the name I loved.

My husband was concerned about correcting clients on how to pronounce our name. He wanted to make sure we exhaust all our options as he likes the word Think in the name. He is a major out of the box thinker and has offered his bosses and friends solutions when they seemed to not have any. He has some good names but they are too crazy for me.

He loves the company named Brains on fire. Funny because I think they are a consulting firm that helps you name and market your company. We don't have that kind of money.

man...some how I thought this would be easier.

I wish I had just gone with my name, instead of thinking so hard about a name. It's nice to just brand yourself! Go with Faber Ink!
