Five Toys On My Santa Wish List

The countdown is on...there are now only seven more shopping days (maybe only six depending on your timezone
) until Christmas. If you had unlimited resources this year and could purchase five 'business' toys - what would they be? I was thinking of this as I finished up my Christmas shopping today and thought I would share with you my official Santa wish list. In no specific order here they are:

In no specific order here they are:- Neat Receipts - I keep getting drawn to the office section at our local Costco and I have even picked up the box to read exactly how it will 'Simplify my life'...you know how it goes, trying to convince myself to buy it. Still not totally convinced yet but I would love to have a way to organize all my loose papers that I always mean to file but never get around to. The end of year tax season would be almost stress free if I didn't have to look so hard for those pesky missing expense receipts because they would already be filed digitally on my computer.
- MacBook Pro - On this previous thread there was a discussion of the pros/cons of Mac vs PC. I have been seriously contemplating whether to switch over to a Mac but had some reservations as to the compatibility of using PC programs on a Mac platform. I am now convinced and have picked out my new MacBook Pro laptop. I'm even being greedy and drooling over the 17-inch screen (Maybe I will only get a lump of coal after all!). Who cares about all the specs (and they are certainly noteworthy)..it's just so pretty!
- iPod - While over at the Apple store I also perused the iPod section. Ok...this is not really for business purposes but I am currently using my husband's iPod, which is soon to be traveling with him, and have gotten spoiled when it comes time for exercising. I just can't justify another MP3/4 player when my old 'non-Apple' one works just fine. But since this is my 'wish' list then I think I want a pink one!
- Wacom Intuos Pen Tablet - Have you ever struggled to get that curve just right in your design program only to find your mouse just gets in your way...hence my desire for this handy little gadget. Plus you can do all sorts of cool stuff like taking handwritten notes, email signing, and handwritten emails. That would take email to a whole personal level!
- Adobe Creative Suite CS4 Upgrade - I was one of the first in line to get one of the Adobe CS3 suites only just last year to find out now that they already have the CS4 suites available with an even better package of programs all around. Sigh...now I have to update as I need two of the programs that are available in the CS4 suite that weren't included in the CS3 version that I have. I guess that's what I get for trying to be first in line

I hope Santa's budget allows for all of these goodies - at least they're all applicable for a business-related tax write-off (well, I don't think the iPod applies). Happy Holidays!

Oh I think the iPod could be a write off if she is listening to business MP3's/teleseminars on it!

I love my NeatReceipts. I use it with one of my client's work. Much easier than a flatbed scanner for those Home Depot receipts for sure!
