Are you a dreamer or a doer?

I often dream. Our dreams is where it all starts. Without dreams we would have no direction for our lives. Our dreams allow us to know what we want to do in life. Today I want to talk about dreams of success.
Every one of us have the potential to become successful and if we are willing to work hard we can make our dreams a reality. Don’t just settle for the dream without making every effort to make it happen.
I often dream of my future and what it will be like. Those dreams include my children growing and learning, graduating high school, going to college, getting married, and giving me grandchildren.
My dreams also include which direction I want my life to take. Such as in business. I have always wanted to own my own business. I have dreamed of it many times. Then one day I woke up and decided to make that dream a reality.
My dream just did not fulfill itself automatically, but I had to work at it and I am still working at it. I now own my own business.
In order to make this dream a reality I had to do some research to find out just how to start my own business. I also had to decide what training if any was necessary, and then follow through with it. I did decide to take some training and I completed those courses thus far and now I am a Certified Virtual Professional and have my CVP Business Ethics Seal. I recently decided to start a blog marketing course.
I also had to reach out and network with other professionals in my industry. I take part in virtual conferences to help me expand my knowledge in the virtual professional industry, more specifically on being a virtual assistant and business owner.
So you can see that having a dream doesn’t necessarily mean that it will happen. Most of the time you have to reach out and grab it. Then you have to work hard to obtain and keep that dream alive.
Please share with us your dreams and how you made them come true. If you have not yet reached for that dream feel free to comment on this post or tell us your plans for obtaining your dream.

Hi Rhonda,
I just had to tell you that your blog post title really caught my eye. I applaud you for following your dreams and taking action to make them into a reality. Every day I live brings me one step closer to fulfilling yet another dream of mine (I have many). Dreams are the seeds that help us grow ... but growing won't happen on it's own! ![]() |

Victoria,
Thank you for reading my blog post, and sharing with everyone. I love your statement about "Dreams are the seeds that help us grow... but growing won't happen on it's own!" Is that your own quote? |
