Here in New Zealand, Spring season doesn't arrive until September. BUT celebrating another country's season is just as good a reason as any to make a spring "to do" list and wipe out some of those little things.
Like dust, the little things we've neglected to do or run out of time to do, build up. Sitting quietly on the surface, waiting silently for our attention. Do we dust? No, because there's more important things to do of course.
If we don't make that concerted effort to complete them, we eventually start getting allergy symptoms... headaches.
They might have been small specs of dust initially, just a 'to do' that wasn't urgent or important. But as time goes on they did become important and then as the final deadline drew near for these little things, they also became urgent. Funnyhow that happens.
I defiantly refused to make any New Years Resolutions because I didn't see the point in making the first day of a year a particularly special day for life changing decisions. My attitude was "why does it have to be January 1st?"
