6 months down...

I remember finding this site and reading through it on my Christmas vacation last year.
I remember being fascinated that it was possible to make a career from Virtual Assistance.
I remember thinking that if I could manage telecommuting for the last 6 years prior I could do this!
I remember the fear, the anticipation, the uncertainty and the excitement on making the decision to go forward.
I remember booking my first client 1 month after, and then another a few weeks after that, two project jobs a few weeks after that.
I remember branching out, marketing, believing in myself, and booking another client.
I remember my passion for numbers resurfacing.
I remember cursing myself through the mistake, the undue trust of a one time job, the disappointment when they skipped on me.
I remember grounding my feet with determination the next day to do things right from that moment forward. Make every client sign a contract; including my MIL (I do her finances while she spends 6 months out of the country)
I remember waking up early and staying up late to make fun time for my kids over the summer.
I remember looking into my daughters eyes as she told me tonight at dinner how happy she was that I worked from home.

Great list and thanks for walking down memory lane with you! Funny how we can all relate to each of your memories and it made me think back to my first sixth month. Congratulations on the first six.

Hi there! I really enjoyed your post - I often forget to think about those things when I get busy so I might just make a similar list to keep in my happy file. Very inspiring.
