I remember finding this site and reading through it on my Christmas vacation last year.

I remember being fascinated that it was possible to make a career from Virtual Assistance.

I remember thinking that if I could manage telecommuting for the last 6 years prior I could do this!

I remember the fear, the anticipation, the uncertainty and the excitement on making the decision to go forward.

I remember booking my first client 1 month after, and then another a few weeks after that, two project jobs a few weeks after that.

I remember branching out, marketing, believing in myself, and booking another client.

I remember my passion for numbers resurfacing.

I remember cursing myself through the mistake, the undue trust of a one time job, the disappointment when they skipped on me.

I remember grounding my feet with determination the next day to do things right from that moment forward. Make every client sign a contract; including my MIL (I do her finances while she spends 6 months out of the country)

I remember waking up early and staying up late to make fun time for my kids over the summer.

Hi ALL,

I am starting to get a blog going and find it facinating and frustrating. 2009 will prove to be an interesting year. I want to get things off and running.

2009 Goals...

1. Get that website up!
2. Explore other ways to generate $$
3. Develop a solid marketing plan
4. Secure 2 clients.
5. Explore a new skill in copywriting

Now #5 will be the most challanging I think. Ok, maybe #4 for sure

I recently took an evalutation regarding my business from some professionals and although I did not score high on the computer "program" end of things the conselor asked if I had experience in copywriting. Well, other than my love of writing, I don't. Maybe something to explore!
