The first question anyone considering set up a business website will ask is: How do I get traffic to my website?

I am still in the process of finishing my website design. Part of that process is figuring out the best way to drive traffic to get the most bang for my buck. Setting up a blog that will attract potential clients and encourage them to come back often will go a long way to helping my achieve this goal. The best way to keep people involved is to post regularly and make sure that the blog posts are interesting and unique.

There are other ways to help get people to your blog the first time, and here are some great places to start:
• Keyword optimization is vital.
• Comment on other blogs and link back to your own to reach people from a wider audience.
• Submit your blog to blog directories.
• Don’t underestimate the value of social networking.
• And finally, make sure that you’re blogging regularly. There are millions of websites and if you aren’t staying current, you can bet your competition is.
