I just literally put on my thinking cap and it seems that I am getting some clarity on what I am supposed to be doing.
Up until a few months ago, I was trying to decide what I could do with the rest of my life and still have it be rewarding. Oh, not just anything, I wanted my venture to mean something.
While surfing the web one day, I came across the VAF forums and haven't looked back. Everything about the industry seemed to be speaking to me "This is what you want to do. This is what you have been looking for." I wanted to offer a service to business owners that could really benefit them in a big way.
Now, what can I do with my medical background? I asked.
I can chart, do EKGs, Vital Signs, CLIA waived medical laboratory tests, bill and code, assist the physician with minor surgical procedures, and am well versed in medical terminology and procedures. I have worked with doctors, nurses, PAs, laboratory personnel, administrators, instructors and educational facilities. Certainly I could do something with this knowledge. Oh, and by the way, I knew something about computers. I love working with them, I love teaching about them.
So, I sat down with pen and paper and began to write and before I knew I had a list of services that I wanted to offer.

Mark that off the list. - Mission statement done. Mark that off too.

- Domain name--done.
