How has being a member of VAF made an impact on you and your business? (Post #3)

Wow, where do I start. Virtual Assistants Forum (VAF) has helped me and my business in so many different ways. Sometimes, I must admit that after two years I often take for granted the value of this wonderful forum and its members.
With VAF I now have a board of directors to aid me in running my business. They are there to run my brainstorming ideas by, or to critique my brochures, elevator speech, website or press release. Tess has saved me many hours with the wonderful resources in the Document Library. The social groups have helped me to expand my horizons and get out of my comfort zone. The free chats and Darlene's podcasts have been a great help in growing my business. Now let's not forget Andrea and The Virtual Entrepreneur (TVE) this monthly newsletter speaks for itself. These are the tools that help me keep my business running smoothly. Now for the inspiration that VAF brings to me and my business.
In all honesty I can say that this forum is the reason that I am still in business. There were times things got tough and I wanted to throw in the towel and call it quits. Usually I would just come to the forum and start to read the individual post. Some where in these posts I would find a spark of inspiration to keep me going. That is why I am so grateful that VAF is here for me and my business.

Ruth, the last paragraph of your post made me teary eyed, really. I think many of the members here can relate, including myself. When times are tough and you are having a bad day... sometimes all you really need is a friend.

I agree. It gets very frustrating sometimes and if you do not have the right place or person to let out that frustration you will eventually give up. Thank you for your post

Thanks for all the great comments. The last paragraph was actually what I first thought of when I though of a answer for this question. There has been more than one time that this forum has help me get through a tough time.

This is a post that reinforces how wonderful this forum is, that it gives inspiration and support. That you can share the ups and downs, the information, and so much more. Thank you for your post Ruth
