Need help in editing a WordPress template - Virtual Assistant Forums

Hello,

I am currently working on a WordPress theme that needs to be edited.

On the page, you would see "contact" button and click on it. Once clicked, an email would pop up for you to type away. However, it does not automatically insert the any email address.

How do I fix that?

Are you trying to create a link that automatically links to an email address? Am I understanding that correctly?

I think so. If you go to www.deafprofessionalfocus.com and click on the contact button on top with green icon, you'd have an email pop up and not see an address for the writer to send email to.

Another thing that I need to fix is the subscribe as well, when we click on it. it just takes you to a page that's nonexisting.

I'd also love to fix the size of fonts as well, its tiny and the links are pale green which can be hard to read. What you think?

Are you using one of the contact form plug-ins? That might be the easiest way to do this...

Oh yeah. Go check out the plug-ins section. There are hundreds of them already written which will probably do anything you could think of doing.

I agree with Amanda - you'll get a lot less spam using the plugins!

I installed it, I'm now learning how to use it. Wish me luck! I'm having fun learning new things about blogging and how to use all those features available.

Do you think the letters are too small on the website? I think it is, I will try and find a way to fix that.

Oh, I have a question. Since what I'm using is a template, will the cform work with those subscribe and contact buttons? Or do I need to delate these buttons? I hope I'm making some sense!

I'm guessing the cform will create it's own form and the contact button won't be needed anymore. I'm not sure about the subscribe button.

Are you using widgets?

Also, about the font - just changing the front from arial to verdana might be just what you need. You would change that in the style sheet (style.css) file.

Let me know if you need help with the style sheet.
