Didn't we all just upgrade to 2.5.1??? I think I read that the release is a month or more early.

I've been dealing with the latest release for two days now, and there are quite a few bugs. If you don't absolutely need the features of the new release, I recommend holding off until they work out the kinks.

Some of the issues include not being able to login to your admin area, and big problems with permalinks to your posts. They do have some fixes available for a few issues, but, in my humble opinion, it's not worth the time you have to put into it.

Just my two cents! But, once they get it de-bugged, this version is going to totally rawk!!

Thanks for the heads up regarding the "bugs" in the newer version of WordPress. I am still in the process of learning how to blog and just made my first blog using the older version. I think I'll wait before I take on any new challenges!
