Default I got this blogging thing down pat
For those following my blog dilemma, I think I found a solution that now works for me. And it may work for you too!

I pick one morning (since I am a true morning person) and write several blogs from topics I have gathered throughout the week. I then post these to my blog scheduling them to run at different days. So now I have articles being posted throughout the week and don't have to worry about my blog until the next week.

Not being a "writer" I find it easier to create several at one time when the creative juices are flowing and completing the process in one swoop.

This only took me a year to figure out a system that works for me so for those who want to blog but are jumping the same hurdles I have I hope this tip helps you.

Happy blogging!

Good for you! I'm not a blogger AT ALL. Maybe one day I'll get into it...

I like your system - & knowing posts can be scheduled is pretty appealing too - so thanks for sharing!

Isn't it cool how blogging is whatever you want it to be? Like Twitter is whatever you want it to be, I suppose. I blog by sitting down and pounding it out every morning (or almost every morning, weekdays). I seldom have any idea what I'm going to write about, until I actually start typing. Can't imagine doing it the way you describe, Lee, but many others are like you, and still others do it a million other different ways.

Blogging is YOU, whatever shape that takes!

I like to blog on Saturday or Sunday mornings and I only do 2 a week. If I can't think of something then I will search for articles that move me or teach me something and then I will post the article and link back to the original. I am still learning to get the creative juices going...but they are coming slowly

I have a blog but don't write as often as I should. Rebecca, you said that you search for articles and then link back to the original. Do you ask for permission from the original author or do you just post the link and reference who wrote it? I was just wondering if that was required.

I will email the author (if written by an individual) and ask them for permission and give them the link back to the original article. If it is by Microsoft, you have to read what their policy is on re-posting articles. If there is no info, ALWAYS follow your references rule, give credit where credit is due and provide where you got the information.
